Originally constructed as the St. James Suites Hotel, the building had seen multiple lives, first as a hotel then as a dormitory, by the time the Varsity team acquired the property. The team reclaimed thousands of lost square feet on the ground level to deliver a massive fitness center, computer lounge + group study rooms, along with back of house offices for staff. Outside, the team demolished the outdated seasonal pool and replaced it with open green space replete with gas fire pit and multiple areas to gather regardless of the weather. The 197 unit community opened in 2016.
